At Kelab Taekwondo Newgen, we train more than kicks and punches. We build confident, respectful and resilient people — on the mat and in life.
About the Club
Led by Master Lee Wan Yuen — Malaysia's first Taekwondo Olympian representative — Newgen trains the next generation of athletes and leaders.
Kelab Taekwondo Newgen (KTN) is a Taekwondo club under Taekwondo Malaysia (TM) and World Taekwondo (WT), with centres in Bandar Menjalara (Kepong) and Wangsa Maju. We teach children, teenagers and adults, and coach school teams across Kuala Lumpur — from the very first bow to the national podium.
We believe martial arts training should be safe, structured and meaningful. Every class blends technique, fitness and character education, so students grow stronger in body and mind together.
Who We Are
Kelab Taekwondo Newgen is operated by Hana Training Academy Sdn Bhd. Every student trains, grades and competes under the Newgen banner, with the full support of the Hana team.

The Spirit of Taekwondo
Taekwondo (태권도) — “the way of the foot and fist” — is guided by five tenets. They are recited in every class and practised far beyond the dojang.
Respect for instructors, training partners, parents and oneself. Every class begins and ends with a bow.
Knowing right from wrong — and having the honesty to act on it, even when no one is watching.
Every black belt is a white belt who never gave up. Progress comes from patience and steady effort.
Mastering one's emotions and actions. True strength is knowing when — and when not — to use it.
Facing challenges with courage. Fall down seven times, stand up eight.
Programs

Fun, structured classes that build coordination, focus and confidence. Children learn basics, poomsae (forms) and good manners through games and drills.
Get fit, learn practical self-defence and work towards your black belt. It is never too late to start.
Advanced kyorugi (sparring) and poomsae training for athletes aiming at state, national and international championships.
Co-curricular Taekwondo coaching for primary and secondary schools, from beginner classes to school competition teams.
Regular grading sessions with a clear syllabus, so every student knows exactly what to work on for the next belt.
